Hand dyed using a unique technique where the garment is covered in ice and powdered dye. As the dye melts it creates beautiful splits in color so each piece is unique and the end result will vary slightly. Subtle shades of taupe, pink, blue and mustard yellows. Made of 100% USA cotton, this shirt is beefy and durable with a in a broken-in feel, just like a T-shirt that was washed or worn for a decade or two. Fits true to size.

Care instructions
To remove excess dye we wash all our tie dye clothing 2 times in hot water. We then tumble dry on warm. This makes them preshrunk and ready to wear.
Wash cotton, bamboo or hemp tie dyed items in cold to warm water with other colored items. Tumble dry warm or (save some energy) hang to dry. Turn garment inside out before washing.
Wash rayon tie dyed items by hand in warm water or in a washing machine on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry.
Note: Never use bleach

Will the colors bleed or fade
No more than any other colored item bought in a boutique or clothing store. We use high quality commercial Procion MX dyes on all our clothing. These dyes are meant to last and believe me, they do! We wash all our dyed clothing 2 times and use a careful chemistry to insure your tie dye stays vibrant for years.
We recommend (like all colored clothing) washing your tie dye in cold to warm water and drying on low heat. Better yet, hang dry your item and save a little energy!
Our Rayon and silk garments should be washed by hand or on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag. Hang to dry.
P.S. Never use bleach!

Items must be returned or exchanged in new condition (not washed or worn, tags attached). Items must be shipped by USPS or Canada Post. Please mark "return" on the customs form. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.

I understand that tie-dyes are each unique, but the one I received didn't look as good as the one in the illustration, so I can't help feeling a bit disappointed. The area around the neckline--which can be all that's visible when wearing a jacket--has just a little vague yellow and brown coloring, so unless people can see the whole shirt it wil just look stained or dirty. Bleah.

I was looking for a fun and comfortable weekend shirt and this item met those expectations. I love the colour choice and find that the tshirt works well with jeans and with sweat pants. As always, dealing with Valerie was easy and pleasant. The products are always dispatched quickly and without issue.
